LPR Tigers vs. ABC
W for the Tigers!
Since I had a fight with the Sport N Center people and then I road around Gonzales lost as a goose...I don't have much for this one!
Final Score 18 Tigers 10 ABC
This is about when I arrived! Good Game Guys!
Game 2: LPR Tigers vs. Trojans
We rested and tried to stay cool for our battle with the Trojans....little did we know...half the battle would be with ole Blue
There he is....the man who kicked our Coach out twice! Lets just call him Bully Blue.
He missed several calls....I only write down the positive, but 2 calls come to mind that he clearly missed. Zachary Shoultz caught the ball at home plate tagged the runner and he called him safe at the plate....how he saw it....I'm not sure...he didn't even move from his second base position.

One more bad call that comes to mind... Abedn fielded the ball...tagged the runner...which he then should have been out, but then he dropped the ball. ...Ump called him safe....Shouldn't have mattered that he dropped the ball after the play.... Rule 1, Page 1, you big bully!
Needless to say...Big Bully Blue probably cost us the game....he never even tried to walk over to a bag to even kind of act like he wanted to come close on making the call.
I thought this quote was rather fitting for this post!

Luke did an awesome job of fielding and getting the ball into 3rd base super quick. At the time Abedn was playing the mound....it's so nice to see them back each other up this year. Way to back em up Abedn! I have noticed that has been something new that they learned compared to last year!

Ole Hartland got in a fight with the fence out there! Guess What....Hartland beat that ole fence! Thanks for shaking it off so quickly Hartland! Way to Hang! Hartland had several defensive catches! Nice Job Bud!

2 Shout Outs for Abedn! Abedn ran waaaaaay up by the foul line...snatched up the ball and threw it to third for the out! Nice Teamwork Petyon and Abedn!

Hunter made a throw over to first base....Throw was a little bit off, not much... Wyatt stayed with it...made the throw to Brant for the out at 2nd! Great effort to all 3 guys!
We had to hold em to win the ball game! We needed 3 outs!
Out#1. Hartland to Wyatt for out at first!
Out #2...Brant to Wyatt ....Then Wyatt threw to home plate, which would have been a double play and would have won the ball game, but the throw was a little late and a little bit off! Runner would have been in, even if Zach would have caught the ball! Amazing Effort Guys! Boy am I glad things turned up for the Tigers on Sunday....it was a long evening explaining to my 7 year old that he didn't lose the ball game!
