LPR Tigers vs Ascension again!
Boys came out hittin!
The boy they call Bethel had a nice triple! Nice shot out to right field!
PW had a nice shot out to right field..it was close to the line...Fair Ball!
Peyton had another hit that same game..he hit it to the same spot!
Defensive Shout Outs!
Wyatt started us off with a catch of the line drive!
Peyton made a nice throw to Wyatt for the out at 1st base!
Abedn to Braden for the out at third base! Way to be thinking Abedn and way to finish out the play Braden! Great TEAMWORK!
That takes care of the first inning....next 2 innings...it was 3 up and 3 down for the Tigers!
Abedn with the pop up..it had Brant written all over it...but Abedn scooped right in with the catch!
Then, Peyton caught the pop up
Batter #3 struck out...we'll take that too!
Another round of 3 up 3 down!
Abedn to Wyatt for the out at first base! Beautifu throw son! Nice pic too! I often hear Derek tell Wyatt to reach back and throw...nice demonstration of that!
Out #2 Abedn to Wyatt again for the out at 1st!!
Out #3 Ball was hit between first and 2nd... Wyatt chased it down and got back to his bag for the out at 1st!
Final 3 outs of the ball game!
Abedn to Wyatt for the out at first!
Brant to Wyatt for the out at first!
Peyton caught the final out! Come on in guys...that's a wrap!
We had about a 20 minute break...then it was time for Game 2
LPR Tigers vs. Live Oak Eagles....our first time to battle this season!
Our fellas were pretty confident coming off of this win, and I think that's what hurt us in this game....they didn't realize..oh we better play ball until the middle of the 3rd inning!
Defensive Shout Outs!
Brant to Peyton for the out at 2nd!
Ball was hit to Wyatt...he fielded...got back to his bag for the out!
Brant to Wyatt for the out at first base! Way to come off of the bag Wyatt!
And, there goes Wyatt...he runs up to catch the pop up...added a little one leg dance for entertaining purposes!
Hunter with a diving catch!
Brant and Wyatt teamed up for the out at 1st base
Reece with a heck of catch out there in right field!
Peyton and Wyatt teamed up for an out at first base!
We had to hold em and we had to get our 7 to win! I don't think it was 3 up and 3 down, but no one scored!
Hunter caught a pop up
Turned around and caught another pop up that knocked him slap down...way to hang on to that ball.
Then ya boy Wolfe made a diving catch out there in right field...
Our turn to bat...needed 7...we didn't get any...
Back to Defense..had to hold em!
Tigers held em..3 up and 3 down..
Peyton caught line drive
Brant to Wyatt...out at first
Peyton to Wyatt ..out at first!
Come on in guys! Time to HIT!
We had to get 7!
We got 3, but I don't who helped with that..sorry about that.
Then, we were back in the field...had to hold em again.
Abedn to Peyton...out at 2nd
Brant to Abedn..out at 2nd
Hunter with the pop up..
They did it,...they did it...now we just needed 4 runs!
Abedn with a shot out to Left Field
2 outs...Wolfe up to the plate, and Reece kept us alive one more time! Nice shot out to center field
Still 2 outs...the winning run was out there somewhere, not really sure which base...Here comes Hunter....we all knew he would hit the ball b/c that's what he does....And, he did..it was a beauty of a shot out to center field...unfortunately it went right into that center fielders glove! ...i think it was carma....that dang carma! Hunter caught the pop up on their last at bat!!!! Never fear...we'll see these Eagles one more time!
This is not normally how I post, but I was in the climax of the story, so I had to go straight into our last at bat..
Other great defensive and offensive shout outs!
Wyatt almost caught the foul pop up...ball jumped right out of that glove!
Hartland to Braden...excellent play...baserunner just barely beat them! I do realize this pic doesn't match, but they are both in the same pic...that has to work b/c I didn't have pics for this game!
Nice sequence of plays...again no OUTS as a result, but very nice plays.
Blake to Peyton, then Petyon to Braden. ... Great effort on watching the ball game and knowing where to throw the ball! Just a tad late.
